General Boy Scouting question, regarding religion.?

I know that the Boy Scouts of America is a great organization. There are none finer. Even though you don't want him exposed to that particular local group, if he enjoys scouting and enjoys being with his fellow scouts, he "will" learn a great deal being in the scouts. The one at the YMCA sounds like the ticket, even though they are affiliated with a church. You don't have to attend the church just because your son is in their troop and I would not feel the least bit guilty about it. Just pay his dues and let him have some fun.
