What will happen to the eggs??

Ok, soo i have 2 ducks eggs well five threw the others out because they were cracked and i was wondering if you can wait like 1 day before you put them in an incubator like 1 day after she lays them and also i heard that it is ok as long as they dont go below 6 degrees celsius?? is that tru and how to you tell the humidity?
