Why is it always umed that superintelligent AIs would eventually become self-aware?

I'm sure I could help you a lot more if I knew what an Al was, but you say humans created it and it is smarter than us. that has BAD IDEA written all over it. does anybody watch the terminator movies?! well I think even if we create something that might be smarter than us if we created it we must also know how to destroy it. And yes we might be completely incorrect when it comes to science. What I think you should do is try not to think about complicated things and live life to the fullest :)
