Would the nikon D90 Be a good fit for me?

I find myself taking lots of sports pictures (snowboard/skateboard mainly) and lots of people pictures (portrait and candid) also nature photography. i currently have the d80. would the d90 be a good upgrade or no? Why Or why not? Thanks!
